Let me introduce you to my website. It's filled with crafty and unique gift ideas.
"Where do I get my inspiration from?" I'm often asked. I get inspiration from the mystical landscapes and coastal scenery of North Mayo, where I have lived for the last 14 years. Erris is a vast canvas of
bog-lands, rivers, forests, hills, mountains and spectacular beach and coastal areas. The landscape is ever-changing, from hour to hour and day to day. Mists and rains sweep over these lands with phenomenal speed and create an almost magical sense where nature is in charge and I am just a spectator.
Handmade.
Each of my pieces on this portal starts from an original idea, and from there I usually expand these ideas using sketches and different palettes of materials, f.e.linen, cotton, silk, wool, wooden embellishments, and much more.
When a doll is being created, I often insert a scented chiffon bag, a heart, filled with lavender, cinnamon, or cloves. Sometimes depending on the effect I'm trying to create I will hand dye the fabrics using natural dyes such as coffee, tea,cinnamon,nutmegs and cloves.
Each and every piece I create, is absolutely unique...
